Planned Service Disruption - 25 and 28 September
We would like to advise applicants and service users that there may be some disruption to Homesearch systems and services on Friday 25 September and Monday 28 September due to planned system maintenance and updates.
During these periods, some online services may be temporarily unavailable, and there may be delays in responding to enquiries.
On Monday 28 September, the Homesearch telephone service will be affected between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. During this time, callers will be able to leave a voicemail message, and the team will endeavour to return calls within 48 hours.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while these essential improvements are carried out.

Monmouthshire Housing Association - Rebrand News
From Monday 28th September 2026, Monmouthshire Housing Association (MHA) will become Awen Housing Group and will be known simply as Awen.
The change to Awen reflects the organisation's ambitions for the future and enables it to deliver its aspiration to increase the supply of affordable housing in South Wales. By continuing to provide the services residents expect and building more affordable homes across South Wales, the organisation aims to remain sustainable and continue making a positive impact on communities for years to come.
What does this mean for residents?
While the organisation's name is changing, residents can be reassured that the organisation itself is not.
This is not a merger and does not involve any other organisation. The same employees, management team and Board will remain in place, continuing to provide the same services and support.
The only changes residents will notice are the organisation's name and branding.
Residents will still be able to contact the organisation in the same way they always have. The telephone number will remain unchanged: 0345 677 2277.
However, email addresses, the website and social media channels will be updated to reflect the new identity. Residents will be informed of these changes in advance and provided with all the information they need to stay connected.
What does this mean for Homesearch?
The website will be updated to reflect the new Awen brand, and residents may start to see Awen appearing on property advertisements in place of MHA.

Pobl becomes Codi – Homesearch update
We would like to let customers know that Pobl has now changed its name to Codi Group, following its merger with Linc Cymru.
The new organisation officially became Codi on 1 January 2026, bringing both organisations together under a single identity and shared approach to delivering housing, care and support across Wales.
What this means for Homesearch
We are beginning to update the Homesearch website to reflect the new Codi brand.
- You will start to see Codi appear on property adverts in place of Pobl
- Other updates across the site will follow over time
There is no change to services, and customers will continue to receive the same support as before.

MHA New Development Properties – Final Advertised Batch
The last batch of MHA's new development properties at Heol Gwyndaf and Cwrt Brynallt, Undy is now live on Homesearch. Applicants have until 27 January 2026 to place their bids. If you are interested in these properties, please ensure you submit your bid before the closing date.

Melin Homes Merges to Form Hedyn
